Hunger – A Gokul Creation

poem by GokulDas from Gokul Creations

Dressed in white and black badge
Holding red banner with caption sorry
Boys and girls like marched on streets
Screaming for brutal acts done
By so called literates of people
killed him by calling thief
Who was starved in hunger
Silence,over..the protest is over
Now who will remember
Will the culprits be punished
Yes he will be remembered
If no other social incidents
The same day next year.

FIRST SIGHT

On April morn when tender raindrops fall
In the cool breeze of morn
Her lovable eyes with smile
Made his  heart skip a beat.

She greeted with her cute voice
She treated  as a friend known for so long
She melted his heart when she talked
With  an Open heart.

As she entered the gates of his heart
She uttered , will meet again
Has to pick her boy
From Play school.

Something

There is something in your eyes
That uplifts my heart with joy.
There is something in your smile,
That my heart craves for you.

September 21st

All seems strange for a while,
As if living in an unfamiliar world,
Failing to recall all that he once learned
Those once friendly now appear foreign.

If bliss is childhood and old age its return,
Then the loss of memory becomes a bitter lesson,
Where he learns nothing but how to live in the unknown,
In an unfamiliar way for the rest of his life.

Amid the busy flow of our daily routines,
He finds himself lost along the way,
Needing a helping hand
For the simplest chores of the day
Alone in a vast world, slowly losing himself.

Before our future leads us to the same destination,
Let us extend our helping hands to them
Sharing care and love, and never leaving them alone
To feel out of place in a world
Where caring hearts still remain.

In war

Across the sky somewhere there is heaven
And underneath earth, hell remain.
Heard many times in bed time stories
That made our  night filled with dreams.

But when some lost their own
Before their wide eyes open
Before they see our world
Wont they feel real hell here.
Where they sniff blood
And here missile sounds
And cry  for lost ones
And all shiver with fright.

War ends peace  forever
 By injecting seeds of hatred
In innocent babe's who
Loose their dear ones.

And begin a never ending tale
Of war even in coming generation.
War never brings justice
But a heap of  sorrow and hatred.

If there is heaven why hell remain
Will hatred remain if entire race
Blossom in their heart love and peace
If all kept their flame of innocence alive.

Read her eyes

She smiled and hid her tears
In her silence she hid her fears
In her anger she hid her love
Still he read through her eyes.

He is her man who read her eyes
He is her prince who win her heart.
He wins her who she laughs with
He loses who she laughs at.

He holds her who cares her
Helps her when she is in need
Whom she can hug tight
When she feels in grief.

Dad

He kissed  every night when she slept
In morning he waved his hand
And with hugs he parted with her
To the daily routine work.

All her wishes were fulfilled
From time to time with pleasure
He kept his dreams aside
To fulfill all her wishes.

He saw tears in her eyes
Just when he scolded
To make her bold
And never again .

It makes him a man
It makes him her father
When he hold all the pressure
On his shoulder.

Into My home

She came into my home
As she stepped her right foot
In front of corridor with smile
She became my princess
The daughter of my mother
Sister of my cousin bro's.

I welcome her into my room
A bed filled with jasmine
And she sat beside me
And chat with me for long hours.

To transform my solitude
Into days and years of joy
Being my better half,
Sharing all joys and sorrows.
Oh! when will that day arrive.
Eagerly waiting for the day.

A narrow road of melancholy

I want someone on whose arms I rest
And share all the griefs and sorrows
A man just like a god father
On whose arms I feel myself safe.

But then I have grown up, I know
For someone is wanting to rest
On my arms in same manner
And so I know I have to manage myself.

The road I travel now is narrow
Filled with grief and  sorrow
Where I am alone and find all
I know treat now me as stranger.

How long I should travel alone
And spent my melancholy hours.
Will it brighten my day after passing
This narrow road or just learn
How to tackle with it every time
As it comes nearby in my life.
